WINEMAKER’S COMMENTS
Juli is a wine-growing project started in 2017 by master winemaker Sven Bruchfeld and Rafael Craveiro. After tasting multiple lots of several grapes from different parts of the vineyard, Rafael and Sven decided to buy some barrels and have Sven vinify and age this unique proprietary red blend for him. Each variety was vinified and aged separately, then blended before spending one year in stainless steel before being bottled. The result is a harmoniously layered wine that is powerful and complex now but will age gracefully for 10 years or more.
